We’re on the hunt for a part-time WordPress designer and developer. Do you love custom post types and modern prefab homes? This may be the position for you. In December 2010, we migrated the site from Typepad to WordPress and would like to polish things a little bit. We also have plans for several new features, so the position could grow into a larger role with the right person.
Position:
Wordpress Pro
Location:
U.S., slight preference for Rocky Mountain/Utah applicants due to proximity.
Qualifications:
Access to computer, internet, and necessary software
Skilled with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL
Skilled with WordPress themes, plug-ins, and widgets
Experience with WordPress forms, custom post-types, member levels
Able to modify existing plug-ins and create custom ones
Able to do work that renders properly in all browsers
Able to work while maintaining proper backups
Responsibilities:
Assess hosting and load-speed, optimize the WordPress setup and plug-ins, and start work on a project for delivery in next 3-4 weeks. Future projects upon completion of main project.
Compensation:
Hourly, based on experience.
