WordPress has emerged as one of the most popular, powerful, and flexible open source web publishing frameworks today.  Learn tools and best-practices for building, customizing, and maintaining self-hosted WordPress-based websites.  Topics include social network integration, performance tuning, backup disaster preparedness, search engine optimization, custom theme development, and custom plugin development.  Discover premium plugins and configurations to address complex business use cases such as running an online store, managing paid memberships and supporting multiple languages.  

 

Prerequisite: familiarity with the the WordPress dashboard and an understanding of self-hosted WordPress architecture and the fundamentals of web publishing
