Research in Motion has received a boost, with WordPress releasing an app for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
According to GMANews, the release allows users of the popular WordPress content management system to perform basic updates, such as creating or editing posts or managing comments, from their tablets.
Sites hosted on WordPress.com, as well as self-hosted sites, are supported by the release.
While the WordPress content management system remains a market leader among SMEs, Blackberry maker RIM has increasingly struggled against Apple and Android in the smartphone and tablet computer markets in recent years.
